“We are entering a dynamic period in BC politics, federally and with elections on the horizon across the country. As the market and political environment shifts, The Core Firm has already seen that there is high demand for a new model for strategic advisory services. Clients want access to senior leadership advice that can be nimble in addressing the shifting political and societal landscapes we find ourselves in. Collaborating on our work will enable us to develop services that address the comprehensive needs of our clients,” said Opreet Kang.
Hill was previously a partner at a national firm where she was one of the top client leads across Canada with a sizable client portfolio of businesses, unions, non profits organizations and associations who focused on complex policy change. While based in BC, Nikki worked with stakeholders federally and across the provinces and territories.
“Government relations is an integral component of the democratic process and our team is well positioned to help ensure more equitable access to services that diverse organizations need to advance policy issues with all levels of government – with an ultimate goal of strengthening public policy decisions,” according to Hill.
”Together we intend to build a new model for public affairs and strategic advisory services. One that is client-centred, social impact driven, women-led and builds new models to serve stakeholders in our rapidly changing world. One that applies our combined experience to supporting stakeholders with complex policy problems with a shared commitment to equity, sustainability, and long-term impact.”
The Core Firm has been growing rapidly and recently added Eliana Carrillo to the advisor team, while also partnering with other extremely talented and passionate women consultants who bring diverse yet complementary skills.
Expanding the government relations practice brings enhanced offerings to The Core Firm’s offerings of strategic advisory, public affairs and communications services.
