Partner

Parm Kahlon

She/Her/Hers

Parm Kahlon is a seasoned executive advisor with extensive experience in developing and implementing strategies. Her key areas of expertise include: executive advisory, partner relations, project management, community engagement and campaigns. Formerly, Parm served as Special Assistant to the Premier of Alberta, Rachel Notley, and worked with various MLAs with the BC NDP. Later, Parm led multiple departments as the Managing Director at UFCW 1518. Her strategic insights supported the organization’s leadership and enhanced its outreach and impact. Having spent her career in the corporate, political and labour sector, Parm is well-rounded and is able to navigate complex spaces. With her visionary approach and commitment to collaboration, makes her an invaluable resource and partner.

Opreet Kang

She/Her/Hers

Opreet Kang is passionate about transformative change that strengthens our communities, deepens a resilient economy and protects our environment. With over 25 years of professional and community experience, including senior leadership roles in large complex organizations, she brings strong governance and financial experience to the table. She understands that the complex and intersectional issues of social justice, the climate emergency and creating an equitable economy must be addressed with values-driven, people-centric solutions that centre the well-being of communities.

Through various leadership roles, Opreet’s professional experience has focused on scaling innovative solutions that build capacity and impact in infrastructure development, equitable economies and improving health care access. For the past six years, she has sat on the board of the Fraser Health Authority and in 2023, she was elected to the Vancity Credit Union Board. She is also a Board member of the Broadbent Institute and remains active in supporting community organizations and grassroots movements.

Nikki Hill

She/Her/Hers

Nikki Hill is one of Canada’s most sought-after public affairs advisors having spent over 25 years working in politics, campaigns and public policy. Starting in 2018, Nikki was a partner and a top client lead at one of Canada’s largest public affairs firms, which she departed in early 2024 to pursue a social impact focused public affairs approach.

Nikki drives for creative, collaborative solutions that address the causes and symptoms of some of today’s big challenges. With a proven track record of success, she excels at empowering diverse clientele, spanning from businesses and associations to unions and non-profits, to attain their government relations objectives. Her successes in government relations span governments of all partisan stripes and she has deep relationships with influencers across the country.

Nikki’s leadership played a pivotal role in the seven provincial and federal election campaigns where she led the province-wide ground campaigns. She appears frequently in the media as a commentator and political strategist, including as a regular panelist on the Global BC Political Panel.

Since 2016, Nikki has focused her passion for social change and equity on addressing the pressing issue of period poverty through United Way’s Period Promise campaign and most recently as the Chair of the Government of BC Period Poverty Task Force. Nikki currently lends her expertise to the board of the Public Affairs Association of Canada BC Chapter.

Nikki was awarded the 2023 WXN Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100 Award for community impact. She is the recipient of the 2020 Greater Vancouver Board of Trade Wendy McDonald Community Catalyst Award, the 2020 United Way of the Lower Mainland Joe Morris Labour Community Service Award and a nominee for the 2021 YWCA Metro Vancouver Women of Distinction award for Business and the Professions. 

Nikki has a degree in political science from the University of British Columbia and an Associate Certificate in Non-Profit Management from BCIT. As a believer in the importance of lifelong learning, Nikki recently completed the UBC Sauder ESG Fundamentals for Sustainable Business course. 

Associate

Eliana Carrillo

She/Her/Hers

Eliana believes in transformational change and empowering audiences
through content. She designs and manages digital campaigns,
including social media, branding and market research.

She has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications.
She has managed projects from small scale to multi-billion dollar
projects. Most recently, Eliana has worked in social infrastructure
projects and supported associations conducting market research and
digital engagement campaigns.

Eliana also served as a government-appointed board member for the BC
College of Midwives. She holds a Bachelor in Communications and a
Master in Arts.
